Soya Wheat Porridge Powder Recipe

Soya Wheat Porridge can be given to babies after 8 months. It is an ideal travel food for babies.

How to make Soya Wheat Porridge Powder at Home?

Instant Soya Wheat Porridge recipe Ingredients

Whole wheat 80 g.

Whole Soyabean 20 g.

Method of preparation

1. Clean whole wheat & soyabean separately.

2. Roast wheat and soyabean in hot sand.

3. Grind these separately and mix together.

4. Store the prepared instant food in an air-tight container.

Add hot water to a tablespoon of the powder when needed, any fruit puree can be added for sweetness for toddlers.

Nutritive value per 100 gms :

Calories 363

Protein 18 .1 g.

Iron 6 .3 mg.

Carotene 136 µg

    Can i use broken wheat instead of whole wheat? How many grams of broken wheat to use for 80 grams of whole wheat

      You will use the same amount of broken wheat mentioned in the recipe for whole wheat.

    Wil wheat not loose its nutrients by roasting? Am i suppose to remove the back like we do for soya beans?

      Hi, wheat will not loose its nutrient value if you dry roast it. It is to ensure that your porridge is easy to cook and the powder is safe to use.

      Hi Shaheen,

      You can Dry roast them well and try adding hot water, but I am not sure if they will cook well, it is best to roast the raw ingredients and the powder

    As far as wheat and soya is concerned in wheat and soya porridge recipe can’t they be simply roasted in a wok …I mn without the sand ?
