      Hi,

It’s time to introduce new foods one by one dear. Gradually include vegetables and pulses in his diet. Please don’t worry of weight. Each and every baby is unique and their sleep pattern would also be changing. It’s okay if baby takes short naps (three hours of sleep, spread out over two to three naps) in the day time. Try to make your baby sleep in calm and comfortable environment. It’s also important to feed nutritious and make your baby’s tummy full 🙂

How’s the little one dong now dear, it would be nice to offer finger foods and give variety of fruits and other foods too.Baby gums are strong and can easily chew food , hence just encourage the habit of chewing and eating.

Hi dear, it happens with babies in the age of 6-12 months that they pass through a phase of refusing solids. You can continue to give breastmilk or formula and feed him what he likes. Gradually he will start taking solids, keep a vairety of finger foods in front of him and let him do whatever he wishes with it, do not force feed him.

    Hi Hema,
It’s such a relief for a new mom like me to find your site while going through the problems while weaning.
My baby is 9 month old and is very fussy for eating anything. Before I introduced solids he was having bothe breastfeed and formula.
After he started solids he is not at all liking formula milk. Although he is taking breastfeed on demand, but I am worried about his milk intake. As we know at this age also milk should be his main food…

    Hi,

Love your site and all the recipes put up by you. So easy to prepare that I don’t even have to introduce any packed food from the stores. I love the fact that she gets healthy homemade food, thanks to you.

Just a small query – I checked your diet chart for 8th month old and there are so many meals for one single day. My prob is that my little girl won’t eat more than 3 in a day. How do u recommend that I introduce so many meals a day? Can’t I just stick to three and continue with breastfeeds for the rest?

      Dear Pooja,

It is perfectly fine if your little one does not take food more than 3 times, the chart is only for guidance and you can continue with breastfeeds which recommendable
