- 100 gms oats (Use 100% Organic Oats)
Method
1. Boil enough water to cook the oats. When the water comes to a boil, add the oats and let it cook.
2. When the oats is fully cooked, remove from flame to the serving bowl.
3. Cut the chikoo into half and remove the seeds. Scoop out the pulp and mash with a fork or in a blender.
4. Add the mashed chikoo into the porridge and stir till thoroughly mixed.
5. If you like, you can add a little breastmilk to make it more appealing to your baby.
Be sure to use ripe chikoos, and clean them well before cutting into them. If you can get home grown organic ones, then even better! If you’re making this for toddlers, you can use a little milk to make it creamier. Anyway, this is one dish you’re likely to be making again and again!
