No-Bake Chocolate Fudge Recipe
Ingredients
- Refined Flour – 30 grams
- Powdered Sugar – 25 grams
- Butter – 25 grams
- Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoon
- Sweetened Condensed Milk (Nestle Milkmaid or Amul Mithai Mate) – 200 grams
- Almonds – 1/4th bowl (coarsely ground with the skin on)
Method:
- To kickstart the preparation of this luscious no-bake chocolate fudge recipe, start by sieving the flour and cocoa powder into a large bowl. Next, add the sugar and almonds for that extra crunch and sweetness. While the original recipe calls for powdered sugar, I must confess that I had to make a slight improvisation. As luck would have it, the power went off while I began crafting this delectable dish. With my daughter’s imminent return from school, I had to think on my feet and work with what I had, using granulated sugar instead.
2. Take your indulgence to the next level by adding the condensed milk to the bowl and mixing it thoroughly with the dry ingredients. This step is crucial in creating the rich and creamy texture of our no-bake chocolate fudge. The combination of the sweet condensed milk with the cocoa-infused dry ingredients is a match made in dessert heaven.
3. Place a non stick pan on a low flame and add this batter to it. Stir till the batter becomes smooth. Please ensure that the flame is low-medium to prevent burning.
4. As soon as the batter starts leaving the base of pan, turn off the flame and immediately transfer the fudge to a greased bowl or flat cake tin.
5. Enhance the appeal of your no-bake chocolate fudge by adding a topping of crushed almonds and castor sugar. The combination of the crunchy almonds and the subtle sweetness of the castor sugar adds a delightful texture and flavor contrast to the smooth fudge.
6. Allow the fudge to firm up and set by either freezing it for 30 minutes or chilling it in the fridge for an hour. Once it has reached the perfect consistency, it’s time to unleash your creativity! Decorate the chilled fudge with colorful gems, adding a playful and vibrant touch to your sweet creation. Now, it’s ready to be served and enjoyed by all.
