WonderBoxx Kiddo Review (3-5 Years)
My son has always been fascinated by space and its elements. After watching Gravity last year, he is totally obsessed with Space and Spaceships 😉 Though he has an idea about the elements of space system and planets, we weren’t able to get him catch the concept of the planets revolving around the sun. We left at this, thinking he will learn as he grows..
Surprise !! After doing the activities with WonderBoxx he picked up the entire making of the solar system and can even recite how many moons for Saturn and other planets !! Astonishing isn’t!!.

1. Craft Straw Space Rockets
It is a very simple to create space rocket with paper and drinking straw. When the child blows through the straw the rocket zooms up Whoosh…..
This straw rocket introduces the elementary concepts of force and air. It was so much fun launching our first rocket. Sorry no pictures, by the time I was ready to click the picture the rocket was long gone 😉
2. Make a Mobile Solar System
This was the biggest hit with my boy, he was enthralled by the picture of the mobile solar system and he assembled everything by himself even knotting the strings (I never knew he could handle strings and knots LOL!!)
He was fascinated by the dangling planets and sun and it solved his inquisitiveness on how the planets revolve around the sun. He even tried reading out the alphabets and trying to sound them as SUN or EARTH
3. Create an Alien Land with Clays
Aliens are always a hit with any preschooler.
My kids favourite were the ” Doom Doom Boo ” and Hug Bug” . As the box claimed it sure did spark imagination in my preschooler that by end of the day there were many hideous looking aliens strewn around the house.
4. Assemble a Torch observatory that casts planets
Though my son was familiar with the shadow game, this was a very new concept and it was very intriguing even for us adults to see the planets on our bedroom wall. Loved the BIG DIPPER on our wall.
5. Solve a Milky way Puzzle
This was also a big hit with my kid, he is always wary and bored of puzzles but not this ONE !! With help of the visual Encyclopaedia he learnt the elements and arrangement of solar system perfectly.
6. Glow in Stars Activity
Daily we sleep with glowing galaxy above our bed and this set of moon and stars were added to the existing ones promptly 🙂
7. Visual Encyclopaedia
A very simple and easy to learn encyclopaedia with information on each planets in a concise way. Now thanks to this encyclopaedia my son can recite the number of moons for each planet and even prevalence of the climatic conditions in different planets.
A charming creative story about how telescope works to bring the moon closer to a little boy.
End Result : We are frantically searching to buy a telescope for our Boy !!

What I found out WonderBoxx to be ?
1. Creative Learning
Space is something that can even befuddle an adult and to make a preschooler understand the concept so easily and perfectly is a WONDER indeed. Doing each activity helped him understand the working of each aspect of the space and planets.
The boards, stickers and all the materials were of top quality to sustain the wear and tear. The torch provided for the torch observatory were similar to the standard quality ones, and can last till my 1 year old younger one becomes a preschooler!!. The book was a board book with sturdy thick pages and not easily tear able.
Small items were provided in quality cloth pouch bags for easy storage.
3. Engaging and creative activities for the whole month
The activities were such that they can be repeated several times a month. The torch observatory, puzzle, clay activities are designed in such a way that kids won’t get bored and can be played frequently.
The price is really worth for the goodies that WonderBoxx offers and if you subscribe for a longer period like 3 or 6 months you can get them at a good price. Currently as a launch offer there are attractive discounts on the boxes.
If you have a toddler or preschooler and want to engage them in creative and constructive learning activities, then the WonderBoxx is a DEFINITE BUY !!
