Broken Wheat Apple Halwa Recipe

Ingredients

  • Broken wheat – 3 Tbsp.
  • Apple puree – 1 Tbsp.
  • Ghee – 1 Tsp
  • Cardamom powder – A Pinch
  • Dry fruits powder – 1 Tsp for babies above 8 months

Instructions

  • Heat a cooker and add 1 tsp of ghee in it.
  • Add Broken wheat and sauté for few seconds.
  • Add ½ cup of water to the sautéed broken wheat .
  • Close the lid.
  • Cook for 2-3 whistles.
  • Check the consistency.
  • Mash well.
  • Add Apple puree.
  • Add dry fruits powder (can be added for babies above 8 months)
  • And finally add cardamom powder
  • Mix well
  • Yummy Broken Wheat Apple Halwa is now ready to be served.
