Chickpea rice for babies

Ingredients

  • Chickpea - 2 Tbsp
  • Rice - 2 Tbsp
  • Garlic chopped -1 clove
  • Jeera powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Ghee - 2 tsp

Instructions

  • Wash rinse and soak chickpea for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Wash rinse and soak rice for 15 minutes.
  • Heat ghee in a cooker.
  • Add garlic and saute.
  • Add jeera powder, pepper powder and turmeric powder.
  • Saute.
  • Add rice, chickpea and mix well.
  • Add water.
  • Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  • Mash and serve warm.
