Ingredients

  • ½ cup Sprouted ragi flour
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp melted ghee or butter
  • 1–2 tsp cocoa powder
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)
  • Water, as needed

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add ragi flour, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, and cinnamon powder.
  • Gradually add milk and mix well to form a smooth, lump-free batter.
  • Add melted ghee or butter and combine well.
  • Add water little by little, if required, to adjust the consistency. The batter should be thick but pourable.
  • Preheat the waffle maker and lightly grease it with ghee or butter.
  • Pour the required amount of batter into the waffle maker and cook until the waffles are golden, crisp, and cooked through.
  • Carefully remove the waffles and serve warm with fresh fruits, homemade fruit puree, or a suitable topping. Ragi Waffles Recipe for Kids is ready!
