Nutritious Ragi Sweet Potato Porridge for Healthy Weight Gain

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Sprouted ragi powder
  • Sweet Potatoes puree
  • Dry fruits powder [For babies above 8 month]
  • Water/Milk [For kids above 1 year]
  • 1 tsp Ghee

Instructions

  •  Wash the sweet potatoes and steam in steamer or pressure cook them until they are soft.
  •  Once cooked peel off sweet potatoes and mash it until it's smooth.
  •  In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of ragi powder to 1 cup of water or milk.
  •  Stir in the powder so that it does not form lumps.
  •  Add sweet potato puree, and any natural sweetener of your choice to it and stir it until it's well mixed.
  •  If the porridge starts coming off from the sides of the pan in which it is cooked, it means that the porridge is well cooked.
  • Switch off the stove and add a teaspoon of ghee to it. Once it’s warm, it can be fed to the baby.
