Getting kids to eat leafy greens can be a challenge, but with these delicious and healthy spinach pancakes, it’s easier than ever!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dal (washed and soaked)
  • A handful of fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 clove of garlic (optional)
  • Oil for cooking
  • Salt (only for kids above 1 year)

Instructions

  • Wash ½ cup of dal and soak it in water.
  • Blend dal with chopped spinach, turmeric, cumin powder, salt, and water into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, pour small portions of the batter, and shape into rounds.
  • Flip and cook until golden on both sides.
  • Serve the button spinach pancakes hot.
