Mix 2 tbsp ragi flour with ¼ cup water to form a smooth paste (no lumps).
Boil ¾ cup water in a pan.
Slowly add the ragi paste into boiling water while stirring continuously.
Cook on low flame for 5–7 minutes until thick and glossy, stirring to avoid lumps.
Let it cool slightly.
For babies below 1 year: Serve plain or mix with breast milk/formula.
For toddlers/kids above 1 year: Add buttermilk, a pinch of salt, or ghee. Mix well and serve.
