Boil or steam the potato cubes until very tender.
Mash the cooked potatoes thoroughly until smooth.
Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a small pan over low heat.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them splutter briefly.
Add the mashed potatoes and a pinch of turmeric powder to the pan.
Mix well, then add a little water for a smooth consistency.
Simmer for one to two minutes, stirring.
Cool to a safe temperature before serving.
