Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe banana
  • ½ cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Melted ghee or butter
  • 2–3 tbsp Milk – (as needed)
  • Cinnamon powder – a pinch
  • 1–2 tbsp Jaggery powder or dates powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease small bun moulds with a little ghee.
  • Peel the banana and mash it well in a bowl until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add the egg to the mashed banana and whisk well until combined. Add melted ghee or butter and mix well.
  • Add whole wheat flour, cinnamon powder, and powdered jaggery or dates powder. Add milk little by little and mix to make a smooth, thick batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bun moulds, filling them about ¾ full.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the buns are cooked and lightly golden.
  • Allow the buns to cool slightly before removing from the moulds.
