Crunchy Egg Fingers Recipe

This Crunchy egg fingers recipe is an excellent finger food for babies over 8 months as well as an ideal after-school snack for older kids!

Ingredients

  • Egg -6
  • Rice Flour -1/2 cup
  • Corn Flour -1/2 cup
  • Pepper-1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as required
  • Oil - for deep frying
  • Whole Wheat Rusk Crumbs - 1 cup

Instructions

  • Take 5 eggs.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Beat well.
  • Take a pan and grease it with oil.
  • Add water in idly cooker.
  • Place the pan into it.
  • Pour the egg mixture.
  • Close the lid.
  • Steam cook for 20-25 Minutes.
  • Check if it is cooked.
  • Cut it into small pieces.
  • Beat an egg and keep it aside.
  • Mix rice flour and corn flour.
  • Take the pieces one by one.
  • Dip in egg.
  • Coat the pieces with flour mixture.
  • Then again dip in egg.
  • Coat with Rusk crumbs.
  • Deep fry them till it turns Golden brown.
  • Tasty and crunchy egg fingers is ready to be served.
