Ingredients

  • 2-3 fresh Amla (Indian gooseberries), deseeded and roughly chopped
  • 10-12 fresh Mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp Honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup chilled Water

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash 2-3 fresh amla, remove the seeds, and roughly chop the flesh.
  • Place the chopped amla, 10-12 fresh mint leaves, 1 tablespoon of honey (adjust to taste), and half a cup of chilled water into a blender.
  • Blend until a smooth puree is achieved.
  • For a smoother juice, especially for children who dislike pulp, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing to extract all the juice.
  • Add the remaining half cup of chilled water to the strained or blended juice. Stir well.
  • Serve the juice chilled.
