Carrot Moong Dal Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Rice
  • 1/4 Cup Moong Dal
  • 1 Carrot Medium sized
  • 2 Cups Water

Instructions

  • Wash/Rinse the rice and moong dal together in water and soak them for 30 minutes.
  • In a pan add the soaked rice, moong dal, chopped carrot and water in it.
  • Cook them for 5-10 minutes under the low-medium flame. Turn off the heat.
  • Open the lid and gently mash the mixture with a masher to make it smooth.
  • Carrot moong dal rice is ready to serve warm to your baby.
