Ingredients
2
slices
of Brown bread
2
cups
milk
3
tsp
sugar
1
tsp
custard powder
Ghee for frying
Instructions
Cut the bread slices into four pieces.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the slices till golden Brown.
Take milk in a pan and boil it.
Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame and reduce the milk to half.
Add sugar to the reduced milk.
Mix custard powder in mildly cold milk.
Add this paste to the boiling milk.
Once the milk gets thick turn off the gas.
Add bread pieces to milk and let it soak the milk.
Once it's ready take it in a plate and serve.
Garnish with almond silvers.
I have done with chocolate syrup
Notes
Instead of frying the bread pieces in ghee, they can also be toasted in OTG or toaster.
