A easy to make yummy dessert with brown bread and milk

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Brown bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp custard powder
  • Ghee for frying

Instructions

  • Cut the bread slices into four pieces.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry the slices till golden Brown.
  • Take milk in a pan and boil it.
  • Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame and reduce the milk to half.
  • Add sugar to the reduced milk.
  • Mix custard powder in mildly cold milk.
  • Add this paste to the boiling milk.
  • Once the milk gets thick turn off the gas.
  • Add bread pieces to milk and let it soak the milk.
  • Once it's ready take it in a plate and serve.
  • Garnish with almond silvers.
  • I have done with chocolate syrup

Notes

Instead of frying the bread pieces in ghee, they can also be toasted in OTG or toaster.
