Coriander Curd Khichdi

With mild flavors and a cooling effect, this easy to make coriander curd khichdi recipe is ideal for little babies and toddlers who don't like spicy food.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 2 Tbsp.
  • Toor Dal – 1 Tbsp.
  • Chopped Coriander – 1 Tbsp.
  • Curd – 4 Tbsp.
  • Ghee – ½ Tsp
  • Jeera Powder – ¼ Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – A Pinch
  • Hing – A Pinch Optional

Instructions

  • Take the rice and dal in separate bowls.
  • Wash and rinse the rice and dal thoroughly, soak them for 30 minutes. Then drain the water.
  • Heat the cooker, drizzle some ghee in it.
  • Add rice and dal, saute for few minutes.
  • Add turmeric, jeera, hing and coriander and saute well.
  • Add 1 cup of water and close the lid.
  • Let it cook for 3- 4 whistles.
  • Let the mixture cool.
  • Add 4 tbsp. of curd and mash well.
  • Serve warm.
