Vegetable Sabudana Dosa Recipe for Kids [ Sago Chilla / Javarisi Dosa]

Kids often get bored of the same old meals, and that's why it is important to keep their diet varied. Here's a vegetable sabudana dosa for kids that will not only keep them entertained but also satisfy their hunger. Sabudana dosa is a popular breakfast in many parts of India, and there are many variations to it. This version is made with sabudana, rava, rice and veggies. The batter is simply poured into a hot pan and cooked until the dosa is crispy and golden brown. Serve it with a dollop of ghee or chutney, and your kids will be happy eaters!

Ingredients

  • Sago- 1 cup
  • Rava- 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - as needed
  • Carrot - 1
  • Onion -1
  • Curd -3/4 cup
  • Green chili -1

Instructions

  • Soak sago in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • In a large mixing bowl add soaked sago, rice flour, rava, curd and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Add water if required to adjust the consistency of the batter.
  • Add all the chopped veggies and mix well.
  • Heat Dosa tawa.
  • Take one ladle of batter to make dosa.
  • Drizzle ghee/Oil and flip when golden brown until both sides are cooked well.
  • Serve with chutney of your choice.
