Broken Wheat Halwa

Broken Wheat Halwa is high in protein and other essential nutrients. It's also a great choice for babies and kids, as it's a nutritious snack that will keep them full and happy.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Broken wheat
  • 1 tbsp Apple puree
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1 Pinch Cardamompowder
  • 1 tsp Dry fruits powder for babies above 8 months

Instructions

  • Heat a cooker and add 1 tsp. of ghee in it.
  • Add broken wheat and sauté for few seconds.
  • Add ½ cup of water to the sautéed broken wheat.
  • Close the lid.
  • Cook for 2-3 whistles.
  • Check the consistency.
  • Mash well.
  • Add Apple puree.
  • Add dry fruits powder (can be added for babies above 8 months)
  • And finally add cardamom powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Yummy Broken Wheat Apple Halwa is now ready to be served.
