How to make Papaya Puree for Baby ?

Papaya is a delicious fruit with many health benefits. It is rich in Vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. It aids digestion and boosts immunity. Papaya can be introduced to a baby's diet after 6 months of age. Select a ripe papaya which is yellow in color and is firm from outside. You may want to steam the papaya if your baby has a week digestion. Generally ripe papaya is pureed directly using a blender without steaming. Initially try feeding papaya puree in a small amount and you may increase the quantity later on.

  • 1/2 cup ripe papaya chunks
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • Select a fresh ripe papaya with a firm outer skin and yellow color. Peel and de-seed it. Cut it into chunks .
  • Transfer the papaya chunks to a blender and pulse to get a puree. You may add little water and adjust the puree as per desired
