Gnocchi Pizza with Indian Twist

  • For the gnocchi base
  • 1 cup suji
  • 3 cups warm water
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Ingredients for Filling
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 to mato chopped deseeded
  • 1 onion sliced.
  • 1 cup bellpeppers red yellow green juliens
  • 1/2 cup boiled corns
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp basil herb.
  • you can also add mushrooms and carrots or other veges of your choice.
  • 1 cube grated cheese.


  • Dry roast suji and keep aside.
  • In a pan add oil, add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  • Now add coriander and saute.
  • Add suji,salt and black pepper powder.
  • Now add water and stir it continuously on low flame till you get a thick dough.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Grease a borosil dish and spread this dough in it evenly.
  • In a pan heat butter and oil.
  • Saute onions till light pink.
  • Add tomatoes and saute.
  • Add bellpeppers and corn.saute them well and all the seasonings.
  • Spread this filling on the suji base.
  • Add grated cheese on it.
  • Grill it in an oven till the cheese melts.
  • Garnish with basil leaves.
  • Serve hot.
