Peel the potatoes and roughly chop them into small chunks.
Take the chopped potatoes and washed green peas in a steel bowl. Add ½ tsp salt ( if using) to the veggies at this stage.
Add about 2 cups of water to a pressure cooker. Place this bowl in the cooker and pressure-cook the veggies for 2 whistles. Wait for the pressure to release naturally before opening the lid.
Transfer the cooked potatoes and green peas in a grinder jar with 1 cup of boiled water and pulse to a smooth puree. Add more water to adjust the required consistency.
Serve warm.
