Paneer Vegetable Paratha Recipe

Parathas make excellent finger foods for babies, and are also a good way to introduce healthy ingredients! Make this paneer vegetable paratha for your kids - for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup grated paneer
  • whey as required to make the dough you can use drinking water instead
  • 2 tablespoon grated carrot
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1-2 teaspoon ghee for roasting the paratha
  • Black pepper powder

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, put whole wheat flour, grated paneer, grated carrot, finely chopped coriander leaves and crushed black pepper.
  • Add in the whey, pouring in a little at a time, till you get a soft dough.
  • Knead well and keep the dough covered for 10 minutes.
  • Make small balls of the dough and roll each dough into a paratha, without making it too thin.
  • Roast the paratha on a heated skillet till both sides are golden brown.
  • Brush either side of the paratha with ghee.
  • Cut the paratha into four quarters or smaller pieces and serve right away.
