Ingredients

  • 1 cup Little Moppet food’s multi millet pan cake mix
  • 1/4 cup grated paneer / cottage cheese used homemade
  • 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds / ajwain
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ghee + for brushing the paratha
  • Whole wheat flour for dusting
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala optional
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl add the multi millet pan cake mix, grated paneer, salt, carom seeds, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala, coriander and 1 teaspoon ghee.
  • Mix everything very well using finger tips.
  • Now add little water at a time and knead into a semi soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  • Take each dough ball between the palms, slightly flatten it and using a rolling pin, roll it on a dusted platform into a round shape.
  • Carefully transfer the rolled out paratha to a heated skillet and cook the paratha from both sides until light brown spots appear on the surface.
  • Brush the paratha with ghee.
  • Repeat the same for rest of the dough.
  • Serve the multi millet paneer paratha warm with curd, pickle or dal.
