A recipe your babies will love “Pumpkin Halwa for Babies”! Halwa with essential nutrients for immunity & digestion, making them the perfect baby food. This sugarless dessert with a festive twist can be given to babies from 8 months of age. Pumpkin is good to be given after 6 months itself, as we have added the dates powder, this recipe is recommended for 8 months+ babies.

Ingredients

  • Grated Pumpkin - 1 cup
  • Dates Powder - 1/4 cup
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Dry Fruits – 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom Powder - a pinch

Instructions

  • Heat Ghee in a pan.
  • Add grated pumpkin and saute till there is no raw smell.
  • Add Little water and let it boil.
  • Add Dry Dates Powder.
  • Add dry fruits powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Mix well till it thickens.
  • Yummy halwa is ready to get served.
