Treat your baby’s taste buds with the naturally sweet and delicious green peas puree which is loaded with vitamins, minerals and fibre!

Ingredients

  • Shelled green peas fresh or frozen - 1/2 cup (I have used fresh)

Instructions

  • Place the green peas in a sauce pan with 1 cup water and boil it until they are very tender. Alternatively, you may steam the peas in a steamer. If using frozen peas, cook according to the package instructions.
  • Reserve the left over water after cooking, it can be used to thinning out the peas to make puree.
  • Place the cooked green peas in a grinder jar and pulse multiple times to make puree. Add the reserved water and adjust the consistency of the puree. Make sure the puree is fine.
  • You may add breast milk to the puree while feeding to the baby. Do not add cow milk, salt, or any sweetener while serving the puree to a baby under 1 year.
