Cauliflower Paneer Puree

Cauliflower Paneer puree can serve a delicious protein rich weaning food for your baby. This puree is suitable for babies above 8 months of age.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets - 1 /4 Cup
  • Paneer / cottage cheese - 2 Small cubes
  • Breast milk / formula to thin out the puree
  • Black pepper powder optional – a Pinch

Instructions

  • Wash the cauliflower florets. Steam them in a steamer for 12-15 minutes or until they are tender.
  • Transfer the steamed cauliflower florets to a grinder jar while warm. Add paneer cubes and pulse couple of times to get a smooth puree.
  • Add breast milk or formula to thin the puree as per desired consistency.
  • Pinch of black pepper can be added to flavor the puree. This can also serve as a dip for your little one to go with baked veggie fingers or crackers.
