Wash the potato thoroughly in running water. Pat dry and peel it.
Make small cube size pieces and place them in a steamer basket.
Cover and steam for 10 minutes.
Rinse the red bell pepper. Cut and deseed it.
Make thin slices with half of it.
Add it to the steamer basket once potato pieces are steamed for 10 minutes. Cover and steam both for another 5 minutes. Put off the flame. Allow the red bell pepper and potato to cool a bit before making the puree.
Next in a grinder jar, pulse the steamed potato and redbell pepper to get a smooth puree. You may add little drinking water to thin out the puree as per the desired consistency.
Reheat the puree again and serve it to the baby, while warm.
