No Sugar Apple Butter for Kids

Ingredients

  • Apple - 4
  • Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg - a pinch

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and decore the apples.
  • Chop roughly.
  • Heat a pan.
  • Add chopped apples, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Add little amount of water.
  • On medium flame, close and cook for 20-25 minutes until the water evaporates from apple.
  • On low flame, Open the lid and again cook for 20 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame once desired consistency is obtained.
  • Transfer content to grinding jar.
  • Blend till smooth.
  • Apple Butter is ready.
  • Storage Instructions: Store in an air-tight glass container for 2-3 weeks.
