Remove the stalk and chop the cauliflower into small florets.
Boil water and add the florets. Let it boil for few seconds.
Transfer the florets to cold water.
Heat butter in a pan.
Add cumin powder and pepper powder.
Add blanched cauliflower florets.
Add required water, cover and cook till it becomes soft.
Mash with spoon or masher.
NOTE: Blend the mixture for smoother consistency.
