Dry roast urad dal until it changes to golden brown.
Dry roast sago until it makes crackling noise.
Let it cool.
Transfer to grinding jar and grind well.
Sieve to get fine powder.
Sago Urad Dal porridge powder can be stored in an air-tight container for 3-4 months.
Sago Urad Dal Porridge Procedure:
Add 2 tbsp of porridge powder.
Add 1 cup of water to it and mix well without lumps.
Cook in medium flame till the porridge thickens.
