Tricolor Fruit Parfait

Tricolor themed fruit recipe that's easy to make and is a no a cook dessert . Delicious layers of kiwi and orange fruit that sandwich a sweet mixture of honey, hung curd and oats make it a perfect dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh kiwi fruit
  • 2 fresh oranges
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2-3 tablespoon instant oats

Instructions

  • To make hung curd at home pour curd in a muslin cloth lined strainer.Gather the edges of the muslin cloth and tie it . Hang the cloth for 45 minutes. The whey will drip , so keep a container below to collect it. Hung curd is the thick curd which is in the muslin cloth.
  • Wash the kiwi fruits. Pat dry . Peel it and chop into bite size pieces.
  • Peel oranges , deseed and remove the membrane . Make bite size chunks.
  • Take hung curd in a bowl and add honey to it. Beat it with a spoon to blend .
  • Add oats to it and mix well. Our white layer is ready.
  • Now begin to assemble the parfait.
  • Take a tumbler. Add half of the kiwi pieces to it and press well with the help of back of spoon.
  • Now take 2 tablespoons of hung curd oats mixture and layer above the kiwi . Press it with the back of spoon.
  • Lastly arrange the orange pieces over the hung curd layer.
  • Make the second parfait similarly.
  • The tri-color parfait is ready to serve. If not serving immediately refrigerate it until serving time.
