Heart Shaped Banana Oats Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 large overripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon ghee / Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  • Using a grinder , pulse the oats 2-3 times to get oat meal (powdered oats)
  • Add ripe banana chunks and milk to the grinder jar with oatmeal.
  • Pulse 2-3 times to get a lump free batter.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee or olive oil in a pan .
  • Using a small ladle , pour the pancake batter in the centre of the pan. Allow it to spread a little on its own. Do not spread the batter much.
  • Cover cook the pancake on low to medium flame for a minute or so and flip the pancake.
  • Cook from both the sides until it turns golden brown.
  • Repeat the same with remaining batter.
  • Now using a heart shape cookie cutter, cut out small heart shape pancakes.
  • Serve the heart shape oats banana pancakes either as it is or with strawberry banana puree or honey .
