Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add broken wheat to it and stir fry for 1-2 minutes. You will get a lovely nutty aroma.
Next add in the pumpkin pieces and stir fry for another 1 minute. Add 1 1/2 cup water to the cooker and cover with the lid. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Put off the flame.
Open the lid of the cooker once all the pressure has been released naturally.
Now using a hand blender pulse the cooked broken wheat and pumpkin mix to get a lump free porridge.
Serve warm.
