Fruit and Nut Granola Bar

A high energy yielding snack bar
  • Dry Ingredients
  • 1½ cup Oats
  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ cup almonds, flaked
  • ¼ cup Dried dates,
  • chopped¼ cup dried Raisins
  • Wet Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  1. Grease and line a 7x11x2 inch cake tin with baking parchment.
  2. Take all the dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Keep aside.
  3. In a large bowl, add milk, oil, sugar and vanilla. Beat till the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients and mix well to form a thick mixture
  5. Spread it in the lined tin and level it.
  6. baked in a pre heated oven at 180 c for 40 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chocolate syrup, flaked almonds or chocolate chips.
  8. Store in an air tight container for upto 10 days.
