Jeera rice recipe for babies

Introducing spices in baby foods at the right time is more important, as it would help them to accept it well when they grow up. When it comes to spices, jeera is considered to be the best and important spice to be added in baby foods. Jeera rice recipe for babies is very simple to make and it has many health benefits as well.
  • Rice - ½ cup
  • Jeera – 1 tsp
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves (chopped) - 1tsp
  1. Heat ghee in a cooker.
  2. Add jeera and let it splutter.
  3. Add curry leaves and let it splutter.
  4. Saute.
  5. Add rice and saute again.
  6. Add 1.5 cups of water to it.
  7. Note: Add salt for babies above 1 year.
  8. Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
  9. Jeera rice is ready to be served.
