Banana Oats Pancake

Banana Oats Pancake is an easy to make, healthy breakfast for babies to adults. No soaking or grinding required. Made with an instant healthy pancake mix.
INGREDIENTS
  • ¼ cup Banana Oats pancake mix
  • 1 whole egg or ¼ cup milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons jaggery powder (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons ghee to cook the pancakes
METHOD
  1. Method 1 (If vegetarian)
  2. Add ¼ cup of the pancake mix with ¼ cup milk in a bowl. Whisk well. Add little more milk if you feel the batter is lumpy. But do not add more milk, then you would not get the fluffy pancakes.
  3. Method 2 (if using Egg)
  4. Add ¼ cup of the pancake mix with 1 whole egg in a bowl. Beat well. Add little milk if you feel the batter is lumpy. The batter should not be very thin or thick. I added just 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 whole egg to the pancake mix to get the right consistency.
  5. Follow the steps below if using any of the above method.
  6. Add Jaggery powder to the pancake batter and blend well. (this step is purely optional)
  7. Heat a greased pan and add a ladle full of batter in the center of the pan. Do not spread it.
  8. Drizzle ghee and cover cook the pancake on low to medium flame from one side. Flip it and cook on the other side as well.
  9. Prepare all the pancakes in the similar manner.
  10. Drizzle the pancakes with some honey or dates syrup and serve with ripe banana slices and some chopped walnuts.
