Oats Egg Custard for Toddlers

Custard is a soft, creamy dessert that's ideal for young kids, and we've gone and made it healthier by adding oats to it! Check out this Oats Egg Custard that's perfect for toddlers.
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon oats
  • ½ teaspoon almond powder
METHOD
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolk and mashed banana.
  2. Add milk to it slowly, whisking to get a lump free mix.
  3. Transfer the mix to a sauce pan and cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add oats followed by almond powder and stir well.
  5. Cook the custard for another 2-3 minutes, taking care that it does not catch the bottom.
  6. Serve warm.
